Introducing the SIGNAL app, the new way to schedule your CSRAP
Scheduling your Cybersecurity Risk Assessment Program (CSRAP) is easy with the new SIGNAL app
Scheduling your system’s CSRAP assessment was difficult. It resulted in long email chains between System Teams and the CSRAP Team. Information about your CSRAP assessment was hard to track, and sometimes deadlines were missed, resulting in a delay to your system’s Authorization to Operate (ATO) effort.
In April 2023, the Scheduling Interface for Government Navigation Alleviation (SIGNAL) app was launched to address these issues. With SIGNAL, assessment scheduling and assessment tracking happen in one place. Now users can use SIGNAL to:
- Schedule their CSRAP
- Reschedule an CSRAP if required
- Track and view submitted assessments
- Add collaborators from your System Team to SIGNAL
This gives ISPG groups the ability to manage their assessments better, enabling them to plan accordingly and efficiently for present and future assessments. SIGNAL also offers training and onboarding information to System Teams so that they can easily use the app. For now, all information about SIGNAL lives on the ISPG Confluence space.
